If you were able to relate to anything on my home page, I want to start by saying, you are not alone. I know how hard it can be to carry all of that each day while trying to work, parent, get through school, care for yourself and maintain relationships with others.
The good news is, it doesn't have to stay this way.
Individual therapy can be an incredibly powerful experience when you find the right therapist and right kind of therapy for you and your unique set of circumstances. Here are some commonly addressed topics I can help with:

What does therapy at BE look like:
In our initial meeting I'll learn more about your history, needs and goals. We will work together to identify a plan that will guide us moving forward. From there the most common plan includes 50 minute sessions, 1x a week, that may include talk therapy, art making, skill building, movement, emotional processing and more.
A quick note on teens:
I do see teenagers with a few exceptions: 1) They must consent to therapy. Having choice and trust in the therapeutic relationship is essential and can't happen when someone is forced/non-consenting. 2) They must be older than 16. The work I do may not be developmentally appropriate for some younger teens. I am happy to meet with, and answer questions for teens/parents who are on the fence or want to get a sense of connection before they commit.
